1 Being Polite In Class By: Mitchell (2nd grade student with ASD)

2 To be polite is to show good manners. Being polite makes
everyone happy. This book tells the rules to being polite when I am in class. There are many ways I can be polite when I am in my classroom at school.

3 It is polite to be quiet when the teacher is talking.
It is polite to wait until the teacher is finished talking before asking questions.

4 It is polite to raise my hand when I want to talk in class.
It is polite to be quiet when I am doing my work in class.

5 It is polite to be quiet an take my turn when other students
are talking in class. It is NOT polite to touch other children when I am in class. There are many ways to be polite in class. It makes my teacher and the other children in class happy when I am polite.
