National Labor Union (NLU) Legalized 8-hour work day for government workers

Knights of Labor 8-hour workday for all workers Equal pay for men and women Did not discriminate against race, gender, or degree of skill

American Federation of Labor Led by Samuel Gompers Include skilled workers from more than one trade Used strikes as a major tactic (higher wages and shorter workweek)
