What suggestion did the speaker make about the moments leading up to a job interview? The speaker stated that high levels of testosterone and low levels of cortisol would have kind of effect? What examples did she give of how animals exhibit the same behaviors of striking a power stance? Which gender tends to exhibit power stances more frequently?

Active listening Maintain good nonverbal communication reflect (maintain eye contact, proximity, stance/posture, facial expressions), reflect ask questions do not interrupt minimize distractions.

IF A CHILD LIVES WITH security, they learn to have faith. IF A CHILD LIVES WITH approval, they learn to like themselves. IF A CHILD LIVES WITH acceptance and friendship, they learn to find love in the world.

If parenthood required a license… Will you have any age requirements? If no- explain why not. If yes, give the age range and why you selected those ages. Will you have an education requirement? If no explain why not, if yes give the details of your requirement. Will you have financial requirements? If no explain why not, if yes give the financial requirements. What other requirements, skills or traits would you require from prospective parents? Explain why you have chosen these.

You get along with his/her family and they get along with your as well. You find him/her physically attractive. You have similar personalities. They have a good job/ career minded. Your desires about children and raising a family are the same. You have similar goals and hopes for the future. They have never cheated before. they spend a lot of money on you/ gift giver

Refusal skills: s-t-o-p Say NO in a firm voice. No, I’m okay. No, that’s alright. Tell the person why not. I don’t believe in…, I’ve decided to…., that’s not who I am. Offer another idea. Would you like to….? How about…? Promptly leave.
