Lithuania KAUNAS CASTLE The castle at the confluence of the Nemunas and Neris rivers was built in the 14th century to defend against the onslaught of crusaders. Lithuania KAUNAS CASTLE ACCESSIBILITY FACILITIES There is Aleksotas review site, Aleksoto funicular, restaurant Castle Garden, Santakos park, restaurant Gurmė, restaurant CH Chocolaterie, hunter's inn, Maironis Lithuanian Literature Museum, Apple Economy Hotel. You can reach Kaunas castle by public transport or your own car. If you get there by car or bus it won’t be a problem to leave it, because there is a big parking lot.

Lithuania OLD TOWN, TOWN HALL It is the oldest part in the city, located east of the Nemunas and the Neris River, which covers an area of ​​144 ha. There, you will have an opportunity to visit the most important and amusing places: see “White Swan”, Thunder House, Sun clock, Vytautas Church. Also you can take a walk in Santakos park and visit a place, where Kaunas history was started – Kaunas castle; of course to see one of the oldest gothic style churches in Kaunas.

You must always have your card when getting on the means of transport.
