There are several highlights:
Sant‘Agostino’s square where the drama festival is held; Sant’Agostino’s church,which overlooks the square;Sassetti’s tower and San Martino’s church.

Verezzi is one of “I Borghi più Belli d’Italia”, a beautiful mix of four hamlets. They date back to the early middle ages.
The famous drama festival of Verezzi has been held in Sant’Agostino’s square every Summer since 1967.
From the square you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Borgio,Pietra,Loano as far as Gallinara island.

Verezzi is part of Borgio council.
It is located on a hill,2 Km away from the sea and Borgio’s town centre.
DATING
Verezzi was firstly under the lordship of the bishop-count of Albenga from 1076 then under the feudal branch of Del Carretto from 1212 until it became part of the Genoese repubblic in 1385 3
