Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs); European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTCs); EU institutions (institutional partners): including European Commission DGs and Legislative work and political groups of the European Committee of the Regions National and regional authorities in charge of managing programmes co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ERDF, Cohesion Fund, ESF, EAFRD and EMFF); European associations of local and regional authorities, or presenting a local and regional angle; Pan-European networking programmes financed by the ERDF; Companies involved in public-private partnerships; European associations representing the business sector; Financial institutions and European associations in the banking sector. EVENT PARTNER PARTNERS REGIONAL PARTNERSHIPS Event Partners apply to organise sessions, to exchange experience and good practice as well as to facilitate cooperation and networking between different regions and cities. WHAT IS A REGIONAL PARTNERSHIP ? A group of min. 4 and max. 10 European regions and/or cities from at least 4 Member States organising together a session during the EURegions Week in Brussels The sessions aim at exchanging political strategies, experiences and good practice as well as facilitating cooperation and networking between different regions and cities For more detailed information see Guide for Regional Partnerships Andrea

WHAT ARE THE NOVELTIES FOR THE REGIONAL PARTNERSHIPS ? The session of a Regional partnership can be organised at the Meeting Place (European Committee of the Regions premises). /!\ the session should include a political component. 1 specific guide for Regional Partnerships (same application form for partners and Regional Partnerships) Members of the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement are fully eligible as partners (incl. possibility of being a lead partner) Regions and cities from a same country per Regional Partnerships should not represent more than one third of the partners of the partnership The organisation of a local event is not anymore a condition to apply as Regional Partnership Andrea
