Importance of the media The media tell us what is going on in the world. The media are a central part of our lives. The media are influential. Domestic media hardware has become an intrinsic part of home lives. The media are very profitable. 2

What is the subject about? 'The media' refers to the different channels we use to communicate information in the everyday world. 'Media' is the plural of medium (of communication), and the main media are Television Magazines Film Radio Advertising Pop Music Newspapers Internet
