Project Overview Purpose Build a centralized, user-friendly repository of training material for those using Financial Affairs business processes. Seven Financial Affairs departments have training materials. Project Objectives Improve User Interface and Experience Organize training materials in logical and intuitive format to ease end-user experience Provide easier and minimal click paths to training materials Increase number of customers using website for assistance with Financial Affairs services Integrate Feedback From Financial Affair’s User Group Review and Update Content Create consistent structure for course information Review job aids and other resources; will update as needed Office of Financial Affairs
Focus Group Selected 16 volunteers from the Financial Affairs User Group to participate in a focus group. Focus Group There were 68 questions on specific design or usage. We reviewed six training home page designs; received 75 suggestions. Reviewed five presentation designs of training materials; received 61 suggestions Office of Financial Affairs
