Goals & Objectives Implement a toolset for IEEE’s Geo Units to: –Allow IEEE to improve reporting & controls by providing for visibility to Geo Unit financial transactions –Make the treasurer’s job easier –Links Bank Accounts for reconciliation processing (CBRS and Local accounts) –Support annual external audit –Removes the Management Letter Comment that asks MGA to automate –Assists in a more timely completion of both the Annual Report and Tax Return Provide alternative to current paper L 50 Process. Simplify the L 50 Chart of Accounts

Status Report MGA Finance Committee, Operating Committee and Board Endorsements received – February 2011 Project Plan created with Vendor, MGA, F&A and IT – March 2011 Socialized with Regional Treasurers - March 2011 Purchased Net Suite Solution – April 2011 Socialized at Sections Congress – August 2011 UAT, End User & Train the Trainer - November 2011 Project completed (Go-Live) - December 2011 Final Bank Reconciliation Process scheduled for Q1 2012 rollout. 75% of our 550 licensed users have accessed and utilized Net Suite as of 1 March 2012 100% compliance & Reporting is planned for 2011 in 2012 Reporting and Audit Process will be streamlined. 10/12/20154

Prior Successes Success – 2009 - 2010: Staff Stability, Improved Tracking Reports and secure storage facility to track data 10% improvement in consolidation of L50’s by 30 April 2011 vs. prior year, due to both Process and Staff Improvements Streamlined process & secure portal for direct upload of L 50 by Geounit Treasurers. Linked to Volunteer Desktop with myIEEE for single stream of data for storage & consolidation which translates to less manual steps to complete the process L 50 EZ form utilized for preparation prior to upload. This allowed for easy input & smoother consolidation. 55% of Units utilized the EZ Form in it’s 1 st Year Decoupled Financial from Compliance Data requests that are submitted by volunteer treasurers Implemented a Geo Unit Conference Revenue & Expense Detail Schedule similar to that used by Technical Activities 10/12/20155

6. Other Benefits User Interfaces and Experience was built to our specifications. Our Volunteer Home page and application are managed by IEEE Staff. Salary related savings on reduced temporary resources used annually for L 50 paper processing in the Finance & Administration Department Audit Fees may be reduced as a result of on line data being available and consolidated earlier in the process File backup available. All Currencies we need are available with Multiple Languages available to end users and the ability to override preset FX rates is included. May be able to utilize the software in non US Offices such as India, China, Russia & Tokyo as well as across other OU’s within the IEEE. 10/12/20156
