Registration and Scheduling
Registration and Scheduling Dual Enrollment Coordinators are welcome on campus in CCSS COMPASS testing on site Stay for a Day Assistance with application Answer questions Proposed MOWR application day for those accepted
Registration and Scheduling Scheduling process is different at the local high schools Classes not added to schedule until confirmation of acceptance It is helpful to high school counselors to have a printed copy of schedules before the semester begins. Some schools add classes, students test at beginning semester As numbers increase, this strategy becomes more difficult Requires several schedule changes Review rosters with high school counselors before semester begins
Monitoring Student Progress Encourage instructors to notify high school counselor or designated contact person when students are in danger of failing Attendance policy should be made clear before the semester begins Clarify that dropping courses for high school students may have certain consequences High school counselor should be consulted before students are dropped from classes May need credit for graduation
