1 MOVE ON WHEN Ready Dual-Credit program

2 MOWR Information -Opportunity for Georgia high school students to take courses from a state public or private postsecondary institution while still enrolled as a high school student and receive credit BOTH at the high school and at the postsecondary institution. -Provides financial assistance for tuition, fees, and books Courses do not count against any maximum hourly caps for HOPE scholarships or grants. -Participate part time of full time -Student must apply and be accepted to a participating Postsecondary Institution (University system of Georgia, Technical College of Georgia, or private school ) -Extra Quality point added to Cumulative GPA.

3 UNG – Cumming Admissions Criteria
You must be entering your junior or senior year of high school at the time of enrollment. Younger students are considered on a case-by-case basis. You must present a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher in your Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) coursework. You must present minimum SAT score of 970 combined critical reading and math with a minimum of 480 critical reading and 440 math, or ACT composite of 20 with minimum scores of 20 English and 18 math.

4 UNG- FAQ Q: After I graduate from high school, how do I become a student at UNG? A: Once you have been accepted for admission to UNG for dual enrollment, we consider you a Nighthawk. Therefore, you do not have to re-apply for admission. You simply inform the admissions office that you want to continue as a Nighthawk after you graduate high school. Q: Where will the college course credit I earn transfer? A: To most four-year colleges and universities. Q: How do I schedule my classes? A: You work with your high school guidance counselor and your UNG dual enrollment advisor

5 Lanier Tech Dual Enrollment
Opportunity to graduate from high school with employable skill and certification. Graduate from High School with several college courses completed Take College Entrance Exam (Compass) Complete Lanier Technical College Application and pay $20.00 application fee
