9 units required (three courses) One course from each: GE Area B, C and D Must be taken at a CSU

13 Transfer Model Curriculums (TMCs)
If you are a TMC student, also known as “AA-T or AS-T” Some of the major requirements may vary Check the Catalog for TMC requirements If not reflected on CARR contact records and registration. BUS, ECS, MATH, BIOLBA (only), check CARR for verification.

16 Registration Full-time = 12 units; Maximum = 18 units
Add and drop courses the first 3 weeks of semester on myCI Starting January 21st, add by obtaining permission number from instructor Drop (no permission number needed) Weeks 4-12, only serious and compelling reasons for withdrawal It is your responsibility to verify your schedule Students on waitlists are automatically added -Might recommend taking a lighter load than they did at the CC in the first semester here.

Any remaining lower division major courses Upper division major courses UDGE courses (Upper Division GE B, C and D) Foreign language (one semester college level) American Institutions Multicultural Perspectives (MP) Course -Emphasize that this is NOT the community college and that it will not be as easy as it was then. -For social science majors suggest English 299 for help with writing. If prerequisite met, but blocked from enrollment, contact Records: Took similar course, but not in ASSIST: Contact Program Chair Check w/ Instructor 1st day of class or week prior Tell students that if they have questions about major pre-reqs to ask faculty advisor in next session

Using your course interest list and the schedule of classes, begin building possible schedules Have alternate classes to choose from as classes fill

Log into MyCI My Academics View my transfer credit report Review transferred course and CI course equivalencies Questions: Take note of how many units you transferred in. Max is 70 units from community college (might see adjustments if over 70 units from cc) If over 70, GPA and content still counts, just not units Maximum of 70 units from CC, not including other university, AP, IB, CLEP, or military units.
