What is the definition of stress?

Stress: Is anything that changes a person’s mental or physical well-being. Physical changes due to stress may include: Release of Cortisol and epinephrine Increased heart rate, metabolism, breathing, muscle tension, and blood pressure. This is called the fight or flight response. When our body experiences stress it produces 1400 chemical reactions in our body. These reactions can last for hours.

Is stress all negative? How can stress be positive? We all experience stress, it is part of life. However, being stressed-out all the time is not good. Too much stress slows down digestion, growth, tissue repair, and the response of your immune system.
