Service Access Management Tool Contract Number – Features (cont’d) Administrators can perform the following actions: BLOCK, UNBLOCK, LOCK, UNLOCK BLOCK CONTRACT NUMBERS Block Contract Numbers in a Cisco.com profile (a specific individual cannot have them added to his profile) LOCK BID Lock Contract Numbers so that only an Administrator who manages Contract Numbers can add them to a Cisco.com profile UNBLOCK BID Unblock Contract Numbers in a Cisco.com profile (an unblocked individual can now have them added to his Cisco.com profile) UNLOCK BID Unlock Contract Numbers so that Cisco can add them to Cisco.com profiles Click to continue

Service Access Management: Contract Number Enables Administrators to place Contract Numbers in Cisco Account profiles so those individuals can obtain Cisco services When a new service Contract is purchased, it must be manually added to Cisco Account profiles Primary users: companies who did not purchase their contract from Cisco directly but are obtaining support from Cisco and have less than 500 service Contracts Using Contract Number Click to continue

Contract Number - Manage by Number The Manage by Number screen allows you to: 1 Enter a single Contract Number you administer and select an Action. 2 Or, choose a single Contract from a list of all Contracts that you administer and select an Action. 3 The Actions you can select are: Add Contract Number Delete Contract Number Block Contract Number Unblock Contract Number Note: You cannot see a Contract Number in the tool unless that number is in your Cisco.com profile and you are set up to manage it. Access Advisor in Manage By Name and Manage by Number Access Advisor is also available on the Manage By Name and Manage By Number screens. Click the Advice icon to perform the systematic evaluation. Click to continue

Contract Number - Manage by Name The Manage by Name screen allows you to: Click Add Name when you cannot find an individual in the tool. 1 Or, Search for a user. 2 Then, select an Action. Contract Number - Manage by Group The Manage by Group screen allows you to: 1 Create a New Group Or, choose an existing group and select: 2 Add individuals or Contract Numbers to the group Delete individuals or Contract Numbers from the group Rename the group Delete the group 2 Click to continue

Contract Number - Lock/Unlock The Lock/Unlock screen allows you to: Enter one Contract Number that you Administer and select an Action. 1 Or, choose one or many contract numbers. 2 The Actions you can select are: 3 Lock Contract Number(s) Unlock Contract Number(s) Click to continue

SAMT – Grant, Revoke, Update Software Access The Manage by Number – Software Access screen allows you to: Enter a single Contract Number you administer and select an Action. Or, choose a single Contract from a list of all Contracts that you administer and select an Action. You can choose a contract and select one of the following Actions Grant software access Revoke software access Update software access expiry date 1 2 Click to continue

Contract Number - Administration The Administration screen allows you to: Obtain Reports Open Profile Manager in order for the Administrator to perform/request updates to his profile Inform Cisco about individuals who have left the company Inform Cisco about individuals who are obtaining support and may not be authorized Register a new individual to obtain a Cisco.com ID Click to continue

Contract Number – Other Tool Functions If an individual attempts to request a blocked or locked Contract Number be added to his Cisco.com profile using the Cisco.com Profile Manager, a message will be displayed directing him to the Administrator(s) for that Contract Number. An email will automatically be sent: 1) to the Administrator with the individual’s information, and 2) to the individual with the Administrator’s information. The request will not be sent to Cisco. If Cisco attempts to add a blocked or locked Contract Number to a Cisco.com profile using Cisco’s internal tools, a message will be displayed indicating the Contract Number cannot be added. An email will automatically be sent: 1) to the Administrator with the individual’s information, and 2) to the individual with the Administrator’s information. If Cisco adds a Contract Number to a Cisco.com profile, all Administrators will be informed via email (you can request not to receive this email). Click to continue
