2 Requests Go to the “Requests” tab is in SAMT
The “Pending Requests” sub-tab is the default SAMT “homepage” Displays submitted Bill-to, Contract, and Software Download access requests that require your action If you have locked your contracts or Bill-to IDs, all user requests for association will appear in your Pending Requests queue. Even if you have contracts that are not locked, you will still see requests here if Cisco’s automation system was not able to determine that the user’s organization is entitled on the contract. Click to continue

3 Pending Requests The “Access Advisor” function provides advice for contract requests, based on systematic evaluation of the user and the contract being requested Access Advice is only available for individual Contract requests, not Bill-to requests. Advice is determined dynamically, based on the latest information available. So, you may see a spinning wheel here while the system is deciding what advice to give you. Once advice is available, it will be displayed, along with a link to details. Click to continue

4 Pending Requests Access Advisor recommends “Approve” when the system believes access should be granted, but the contract may be locked. If you want the system to automatically associate future requests, you can unlock the contract. The “Access Advisor” function provides advice for contract requests, based on systematic evaluation of the user and the contract being requested Access Advisor recommends “Review” when the system cannot determine if the user works for a company on the contract. Access Advisor recommends “Deny” when there is a problem with the user or the contract. Here, that means something changed after the request was submitted. Click to continue
