Welcome to Law A Level By the end of this course you will: Studying Law gives students an understanding of the role of Law in today's society and raises their awareness of the rights and responsibilities of individuals. By learning about legal rules and how and why they apply to real life, students also develop their analytical ability, decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Law A Level: Course content You will study... Overview Example topics: In Year 12 The nature of Law Statutory Interpretation, Judicial Precedent The English Legal System Criminal and Civil courts, Sentencing, Bail In Year 13 Law of Torts Negligence Criminal Law Murder, Manslaughter, Theft
