2. AP WORLD HISTORY COURSE OVERVIEW
College-level course covering six historical periods from 8000 B.C.E. to the present
Investigates history through events and people
Covers five course themes that include geography, civilization, state-building, economy, society and culture
Students learn to make connections and think like a historian

3. AP WORLD HISTORY COURSE BENEFITS
World History is required for graduation
