Rwanda HLM 2014 Statement of Commitments Formalize sector-wide approach to ensure effective and efficient WASH sector coordination, planning, resource mobilization, implementation and monitoring to achieve Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS-II) and MDG targets. Decentralize data entry in the existing management information system for water supply to include functionality and water quality for strengthening evidence based decision making for improvement of water supply service delivery. Actively engage with private sector to promote PPP for enhancing WASH coverage and sustainable operation and maintenance of WASH services Improve sanitation coverage and promote safe hygiene practices through community based environmental health promotion and total sanitation approaches; and strengthening and operationalization of community hygiene clubs throughout the country. Promote capacity building for sustainable WASH service delivery at all levels including capacity building of communities, private sector and decentralized government structures at the national and local levels.
