Strategies to Support Increased Achievement on EOCs Continue to use strategies and interventions that are effective. Support implementation of new math intervention model that includes Algebra Nation for Algebra I and ALEKS for courses leading to Algebra I. Update curriculum materials to include new resources. Support teachers through monthly meetings with ELA and math facilitators, as well as science and social studies department heads. Provide training to teachers on Lexile and Quantile Frameworks.

Thinking Ahead Engage in “deep dive” into data to inform future decisions regarding staffing, professional development and interventions. “Front load” professional development for new hires so they are better prepared for supporting student success in 2018-2019.
