Lennox District School Board October 9, 2017

2 South Dakota’s Accountability System
100-point School Performance Index (SPI) Three key indicators with a numeric value assigned to each to measure each school’s performance. Values are added together to create a total SPI score out of 100 points. South Dakota will transition to the Every Student Succeeds Act, for the school year. Because this is the final year of the transition from the waiver to ESSA, schools have new SPI scores but classifications remain those that were made in 2015.
