1970 established the Board of Certification (BOC) Program for certifying AT students and recertifying current ATCs Now commonly called the NATABOC\ www.bocatc.org 1982 – were 9 graduate AT educational programs Recognized by the American Medical Association as an allied health care profession in 1990
