Welcome to Ms. Darla’s Class Rules of Our Classroom

On Line in the Yard While on line in the yard, we must all obey the following rules: Keep your hands to yourself Please bring a book so you can quietly read while waiting for the teacher. You may also bring a deck of cards, UNO or regular is fine and you may play with a partner until the teacher comes

Class Begins Upon entering class everyone will try to be as quiet as possible so as not to disturb any other classes. You will hang up your coats and backpacks and quietly take your seat. The lunch monitor for the week will take count of all children eating school lunch. We will listen to a song that the student of the day has chosen and shake out our sillies!

Recess Quietly line up at sound of first bell. Be responsible for your actions Keep your hands to yourself Help others if you see they need help Take turns if necessary Be a model student HAVE FUN!

Going to Lunch Before going to lunch we will tidy up our desks. Quietly line up at the sound of the first bell. Enjoy your lunch!

Homework All homework assignments will be posted on the right side of the blackboard-closest to the door. All homework is expected on the due dates unless other arrangements have been made with the teacher. If you have questions and do not understand the assignment-Please ask me. I am here to help you at all times.

Class Ends Everyone will make sure they have the homework assignments. Tidy up your desk for the day. Go and get your coats and pack up your back packs. Quietly line up at the sound of the first bell Have a wonderful evening and see you tomorrow!

Bathroom Breaks All students using the restroom must have a bathroom pass. If you must go to the bathroom, please make sure you get a bathroom pass and then go. If you have an emergency and the bathroom passes are both out, then just run and explain later!
