Main Apps for use Mail Drive Docs Sheets Slides

Google Docs is the Google version of Microsoft Word. This is a word processor and a group collaboration tool. Docs works very similar to Word but is missing a few of the features of Word.

Google Slides is the Google version of Microsoft Powerpoint. Works very similar to Powerpoint. Also supports Group Collaboration.

Google Sheets is the Google version of Microsoft Excel. Sheets let you do basic spreadsheets and supports formulas like Excel.
