Gustar: Una Definición “Gustar” means “to like” me gusta I like nos gusta We like te gusta You (familiar) like os gusta You all (familiar) like le gusta He or She likes You (formal) like les gusta They like You all (formal) like

Ejemplos: Me gusta bailar. Le gusta nadar. Les gusta cantar.

No me gusta… To say that someone does NOT like something: put “no” at the beginning Ejemplos: No me gusta leer. No te gusta correr. No nos gusta trabajar.

Translate the following: Me gusta leer y escribir. No le gusta escribir. Te gusta correr. No os gusta patinar. Nos gusta comer. Les gusta bailar y cantar.

Write the following in Spanish: I like to swim. You (familiar) like to skate. He doesn’t like to write. You (formal) like to sing. They don’t like to dance. You all (formal) don’t like to run. We like to eat. You all (familiar) like to read. She doesn’t like to work.
