8. Grammar Gustar with Infinitives… –An infinitive tells the meaning of the verb without naming any subject or tense. There are AR, ER and IR verbs. –Just like nouns, infinitives can be used after a verb like gustar to say what you and others like to do. Always use gusta NOT gustan with verbs. Me gusta la musica. – I like music. Me gusta cantar. – I like to sing.

9. Grammar Pronouns after prepositions… –Pronouns can stand for the same noun yet still have different forms, depending on how they’re being used in the sentence. (Yo soy Javier. Me gusta dibujar.) –Prepositions in Spanish are A(to), de (of, from), con (with), en (in, on, at). –Pronouns after prepositions are: mi, ti, usted, el, ella, nosotros, vosotros, ustedes, ellos, ellas. –A ti te gusta dibujar? –A mi me gusta dibujar. –A ella le gusta dibujar.

10. Grammar Present tense of QUERER with infinitives… –Quiero, quieres, quiere, queremos, queréis, quieren. –Use a form of querer with an infinitive of another verb to say that someone wants to do something. Quiero comer fruta. I want to eat fruit. Maria quiere nadar.- Maria wants to swim.
