During PAB - 2016-17, State informed that construction was yet to start for 7537 kitchen cum stores. Out of these 7537, funds were not even drawn from the treasury for 4037. The State proposed to surrender these 4037 kitchens for re-sanctioning at the plinth area norms This year during appraisal State has informed that last year the number of kitchens for which funds not drawn was wrongly mentioned as 4037 instead of 3500. State has submitted the proposal for re-sanctioning of 3500 Kitchen-cum-stores but the SOR on Plinth area norm is still awaited. Now the State has to surrender the funds of 2533 units.(6033-3500=2533)
