3 Issues  Delay in the release of funds for approx. 2 Month from State to Block.  11 more Working Days covered against PAB-MDM Approval FY 2014-15  Food grains not delivered at school level.  Central Assistance for construction of 430 kitchen-cum-stores lying blocked from last few years due to non-availability of land or schools running in rented buildings.  CCH Honorarium paid in Cash / by e-transfer/ By Cheque in 10 districts.  Only in 2 districts Honorarium paid to CCH through e-Transfer.  Testing of meals is yet to be initiated..  Low Utilisation of MME funds (38 %).  Coverage under Rastriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) is only (27%).  Mismatch in the data of MIS-MDM and AWP&B-2015-16 for cooking cost. 4 Issues raised by State  Half yearly Allocation of Food grain.  Exemption from Registration under Food Security Act. (FSSAI)  De-Linking of LPG with Aadhar Card under MDMs.  Six monthly allocation of Rice instead of quarterly basis.  Rs. 48.98 Lacs of Kitchen Device of ST Category is still held with State Govt. State has required this fund for Gen. category. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

5 Best Practices  LPG based cooking in 87% schools. Some School is also having Water Purifier.  Funds amounting to Rs. 6.00 lakhs have been provided to 600 schools @ Rs. 1000/- per schools for hand washing facilities.  10445 (45%) Cook-cum-Helpers have been trained. 27 cook- cum-helpers have been imparted training in the Hotel Management Institute (HMI) Kufri Shimla during 2014-15.  Health checkup / Screening of cook-cum-helper is made mandatory twice in a year Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
