Highlight important details --- Pay special attention to The children’s reaction to the snow and the events that occur because of it The blanket that Scout has – how she got and Jem and Atticus’s reactions Miss Maudie’s reaction to her house fire

Team Graffiti Implementing this teacher move Give students markers and have them to respond to given topics on the graffiti wall using symbols, drawings, shapes, words and quotations. Managing this teacher move with students 1. Discuss and model what an appropriate response is and how to express one's discomfort with something in an appropriate way. 2. Have as many students as possible write at the same time. 3. Students can write their own response to the prompt as well as respond to the questions and ideas that other students have written. 4. All students are to post at least one question or comment to the graffiti wall. 5. Allow 5-10 minutes for silent writing on the graffiti board.
