How Do You Earn Credits? 1.0 credit = 4 quarters = 2 semesters Semester Grade = 2 quarter grades plus a semester or a final exam If, after averaging your 2 quarters of grades with the semester or final exam, you have a passing grade, you will earn .5 credit for that course.
Moving Toward Graduation You must pass all of the required classes to graduate from high school! Passing 2 or 3 quarters of a class will not earn the credit you need. You must pass a semester to earn credit. If you fail a required class, you must re-take it, and you may not be allowed to move to the next level of a subject area (e.g., math) until you pass the current level.
