KEY DATES 23rd November 2015– Pre Public Exams 26h January 2016 - Year 11 Parents’ Evening 29th February 2016 – Pre Public Exams 16h May 2016 – Summer exams begin 25th August 2016– GCSE Results Day
Pre Public Exams Understand the procedures, rules and expectations of external examinations. Trial run for the real thing in the summer. PPE exam results act as a guide to “Estimated Grades” (these are sent to the exam boards before the final exam, giving students an idea of what grade they are capable of achieving. If there is a problem during the exam, for example illness, the board may base final grades on their PPE results) Show what students understand and identify what they still need help with. Influence tier to be entered for exam. Post 16 application
