Update your Company Profile on TheYachtMarket Update your Company Profile on TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show Website Take full advantage of aprox 225,000 unique visits to the Show websites Promote your products and boats at the Show Promote your brand and company name Show visitors who you are, where you are and what your company business is The new Related Media section enables you to show visitors your latest product details in text, images and video as well as display live tweets.

Logging in: Usernames and Passwords If you do not have a user name or password you will need to register at the British Marine Website here - http://britishmarine.co.uk/Login . If you are already registered or are a British Marine member, you can retrieve your password by clicking “send me my password”. If you are a PR agency working for an exhibitor please see the instructions on Page 4 of this document. There are three ways you can get to the Admin section: You can go to the home page of the Show site - http://southamptonboatshow.com/ and click the “Exhibitor Area” tab on the left hand side. Update your Show website listing Your Username & Password: To go direct to the login page click http://www.southamptonboats how.com/admin . Enter your username then your password and click the login button. Once logged in you will see this landing page. Here you can use the buttons to get the most out of exhibiting. Or click on your brand (below “I want to Edit”) to edit the brand profiles, add a boat or product listings, or add news. If you are a PR company read the next page.

Update your Show website listing (for PR agencies) If you are a PR agency you will need to ask the company you are representing to associate your company with them in our database . You will also need to register here in order to have a login. Then go to http://southamptonboatshow.co m/Admin to get to the login area shown above. Once logged in, click on the “agencies” tab at the top and tick your company. Then you can use the buttons to get the most out of exhibiting. Or click on your company’s brand/s (below “I want to Edit”) to edit the brand profiles, add a boat or product listings, or add news.

Update a Brand Profile Once you have clicked on your brand you will arrive at this screen where you can edit all of the details and upload a logo. To delete an old logo, click the red button with the white cross. At the bottom, also tick which enquiry types you would like for website users to contact you. If you make any changes, remember to click “Save Profile”. To select which product areas you want your company to be found under when the users carry out a search on the website, click the drop down menu and select up to 10 areas. Remember to click “Save Changes” then “Save Profile”. To return to the previous page click the grey “back” button.

How to add a twitter feed to your profile Add your Twitter Username in the box on the left and confirm your changes Your tweets will automatically display from your feed onto your TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show company web profile

Add/Edit/Delete Boats Click on the light green “Add Boat” icon. PLEASE ENSURE ALL OF THE FIELDS ARE COMPLETED. Tips – Select imperial or metric boat length Tick the “exhibiting” button. If you have a boat which you want to keep the profile but is not appearing at the show then un-tick Click “Save Changes” or “Save Details” when finished. Please delete boats you will not be bringing to the Show again. Click on the dark green “View All Boats” icon if you want to edit, exclude or delete other boats. Click on the boat and save changes. Remember that you can click on the “Exhibitor Home” icon or “Log Out” at any time but remember to save any changes.

Related Media: Add Photos & Titles To add images click on the “Related Media” button and in the new screen click on the “upload images” button. Browse your files and select the image/s you wish to upload. Click “Save Changes” to save. To add a Title to the image, click on the pencil icon. Click “ok” once edited. Repeat this to upload more images NB: Each image must have a different title. Then click “Save Changes”. Click the grey “Back to Home” icon when you are finished.

Related Media: Add / Edit Videos You can link to videos streamed from elsewhere (Youtube, Vimeo etc) by clicking on the “Upload Video” icon. Enter a title and caption and add the video URL – such as https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v=W8nb-UFdi0k (not the embed code). Click “OK” and then “Save Changes”. *Please note that a Thumbnail will be pre selected. You can edit using the pencil icon or delete using the X. Then “Save Changes”. Click the grey “Back to Home” icon when you are finished then click “Save Profile”.

Add/Update/Delete Products On the company landing page above, click on the light blue “Add product” icon. (see right hand image) Select the brand you wish to associate the product with from the drop down menu. Select a price or alternative text, select VAT Y / N and that the product is appearing at the Show. “Save Changes”. Add related media in the same way as with boats (pages 7/8). Click on the dark green “View All products” icon if you want to edit, exclude or delete other products. Please delete products you will not be bringing to the Show. Click the red “Save Changes” button. When finished, click “Save Profile”.

Add/Update/Delete News On the company landing page above, click on the light blue “Add News Item” icon. (see right hand image) Select the brand you wish to associate your news with from the drop down menu. Write a News Title & Summary. “Save Changes”. If available, upload a thumbnail image and attach a document which users can download (delete with the red x button). Click the red “Save Changes” button. To add another News item, click the “Add News Item” icon again or delete with the red “delete this news item” button. When finished, click “Save Details”.
