Key points for the Youth Justice Degree Progression available from the Foundation degree through to an Honors degree and post graduate level High quality, interactive resources so students can develop knowledge and apply practice skills in ways that promote critical reflection appropriate to the level of study Continuous support from a tutor highly experienced in youth justice who will provide feedback on individual progress Anyone can access courses at any level and can complete modules individually - there are very high completion rates and courses are affordable with flexible payment options The 8 Practice Skills Awards have been drawn from the core competences in the YJ Skills Matrix and mapped to national occupational standards

Youth Justice Apprenticeship A Higher Trailblazer Apprenticeship is being developed and will be submitted to the Dept for Business, Innovation and Skills for accreditation Employers pay a compulsory levy for Apprenticeships so some of the training costs for the YJPF/YJ Degree can be recouped Apprentices would be employed in a YJ team for a minimum of 2 years - 4 days working to develop their skills and experience and the 5th day for study Exploration of a positive action programme to support under-represented groups (BAME/ex service users) into Apprenticeships – partnering with Elevation Networks
