Obesity A term to describe individuals with a large fat content, where their BMI is over 30. Caused by an imbalance of calories consumed compared to energy used. BMI= body mass index

Obesity How to work out your BMI Divide your weight in kilograms(kg) by your height in metres (m) Then divide the answer by your height again to get your BMI. EG 54 divided by 1.64 = divided by 1.64 = 20 (ideal BMI )
