A term used to describe people with a large fat content – caused by an imbalance of calories consumed to energy expenditure. BMI of over 30 or 20 per cent or move above ideal weight for height
BODY MASS INDEX (BMI)
A measure of whether someone is obese or not.
Less than 20 = Underweight
20 – 25 = Correct Weight
25-30 = Overweight
More than 30 = Obese
