What is Title I? Title I is a federally funded program under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA). It is the largest Federal assistance program for states and school systems. Title I supports school districts and schools to ensure that all children have an opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to achieve proficiencies on high academic standards. Greater than 45% poverty for school-wide support

School Improvement Plan Title I Schoolwide Plan Needs Assessment Student Data Development of SIP/SWP School Goals Increase Lexile levels for students in 3rd grade through 5th grade as measured by the easyCBM benchmark assessments and the Georgia Milestones EOG by improving Reading Comprehension Increase Lexile levels for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade as measured by the easyCBM Benchmark assessments in the area of ELA Reading and Language Arts by improving Reading Fluency

What does Title I funding provide for our students? Learning Lab- Specials Paraprofessional for Learning lab and most critical students Grade K-5- to provide additional support Academic Facilitator-Parent Involvement Facilitator Parent Workshops Supplemental materials for all academic areas Guided Reading Support and Materials Parent Involvement Resource Center materials
