Transition - Summer 2016

 Tuesday 14 th June  5 weeks  Every Tuesday afternoon 1.30 – 2.30pm  Focus: Talk for Writing – Traditional Stories  Story telling and story making Transition Sessions

Opposite end of school Where Key Stage 1 used to be Individual classroom doors (labels on the outside to help you) Senior member of staff with registers on first day to guide you Expansion – location of year group

 Final week all children will be given a ‘home challenge’ by their new teacher to develop over the summer holidays  Homework –  Each week: Literacy, Numeracy  Reading  Mental Maths and Spellings Home challenge

 Meals are provided for all KS1 children. However, if you are eligible for free school meals, please ensure that you apply for this service as we receive extra funding for the children’s education  Entitled to FSM register - letter from the office School Meals
