Empire Building Cause of WWI

 Industrial – Having to do with business or manufacturing  Revolution – a huge change in the way things are done  Industrial Revolution – a change from making things by hand to making them in factories.  This created a need for more resources in European countries for their industries The Industrial Revolution

 Spain, Portugal, France, and England were trying to get as much land and resources for their industries as possible.  They competed against each other. It caused anger and tension between the countries. Empire Building
