.What is a Rainforest? Rainforests are home to many plants and animals, such as monkeys, sloths, snakes, jaguars, tree porcupines, and tree frogs.

Animals of the Rainforests There are many different types of animals in the rainforests such as tree frogs, jaguars, emerald tree boas, and spider monkeys.

Location of Rain Forests There aren’t many rainforests left. Only 6% of rainforests still cover the world.

Emergent Layer Emergent layers are the tallest trees you can see in the rainforest. There are also animals such as harpy eagles, sloths, butterflies, bats, monkeys, and dragonflies.

Canopy Layer The canopy layer is wet and moist.

Understory Layer The understory has many different kinds of plants and animals such as snakes, sloths, spiders, and red eyed tree frogs.

Waterfalls of the Rainforests There are a lot of waterfalls in the rainforests.

Forest Floor The forest floor has many plants, animals, and insects. The forest floor has beautiful butterflies. It has lots of animals and plants.

Deforestation Lots of the rainforests are being destroyed for wood,floors, roads, and towns. In about 50 years all the rainforests will be gone.

People of the Rain Forest Lots of people live in the rainforests. Some people make money by leading tours.

Tropical Rainforest Snakes There are many kinds of snakes in the rainforests such as emerald tree boas, tree boas, and viper snakes.

The Sloth and the Jaguar Once upon a time there lived a sloth named Michelle and a jaguar named Gwyn. The sloth was sleeping on the tree, the jaguar was trying to hunt for food. Then he said”I’m gong to eat the sloth.” The sloth said “ Wait don’t eat me, just give me one more chance.” “ Ok I will.” said the jaguar. Then, the next day he found the sloth again in the same place. “ Ok it’s time for dinner.” she whispered to herself. The sloth said “ PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Give me one more chance!” The jaguar said “ Ok but this is your last chance.” “YAY! Thank you Gwyn!” said Michelle. Finally the last day. The jaguar came back. The sloth asked for another chance, and the jaguar got annoyed so he never ate one sloth again. THE END!!!

In Conclusion PLEASE SAVE THE RAINFORESTS! They are being destroyed to make houses, roads, and buildings.
