Classically Speaking …. Begging for Beethoven ! BEETHOVEN is the name of a composer… Although a fun, family movie was made about a dog with the name “Beethoven” we are studying Ludwig van Beethoven the composer, the musician!

Beethoven Bites…  German composer that lived  Considered one of the greatest composers in history.  Wrote 9 symphonies, lots of sonatas, chamber music,oratorios, concertos. Very prolific!  Went deaf and still composed music  Was a student of the composer,Haydn!  He is considered a musical “bridge” between the Classical and Romantic periods  Had mood swings, tempermental, didn’t care how he looked.  Never satisfied with his music— was always revising it!  By age 25, was able to make his living as a composer.
