“If you are too smart to pay the doctor, you had better be too smart to get ill.”-African proverb. To me the world of medicine is a fascinating thing. The fact that you could save someone’s life with just a simple prescription. I am interested in being a family practitioner. Its about looking over people and making sure they have everything right with their body. To make sure they are ok and can look live to see another.

Take a patient’s medical history. Review test results. Address concerns and questions the patient has. Treat a range of everyday life problems such as illness, broken bones, etc. Treats long-time patients each day of their work.

Works in private own buildings. Works with a staff of nurses to help them with their work. Works about fifty to fifty-five hours per week. The work in my opinion Is about seventy-five percent mental twenty-five percent physical because you have to think about the symptoms then physically treat them. Working a lot with people, x-rays and results so it’s a lot of work.

 You need a medical doctrine.  I want to go to the University of Michigan for the undergrad then apply for their medical degree if I don’t make it then I will apply to a school that specializes in medical.  I will take as many medical, biology and health classes I can to prepare me for this career.

The employment is 691,400 and rising. It’s projected to go up by eighteen percent by I want to live in a well populated place either in Michigan, Massachusetts or New York. I want to work in my own private building.

The salary for a family practitioner is $187,200 to $202,244. My life style goals are… Live in a two story house in the suburbs. + ($350,000+) Have three cars. + ($135,000+) Have my kids go through college. + ($100,000+/-)

Perform surgery on people that will help save their live. You need a doctrine degree to be a surgeon. The employment for this job is also about 691,400. The job market is also expected to rise about eighteen percent by The pay as a surgeon is about $367,885.

After researching this career I am more into becoming a family practitioner. It just seems like a great job and the right job for me. One thing that I am going to like is that I get to work with people and get to help them. One thing I don’t like is that I get to get close with the people so when something happens in their life It will make me just as sad. My overall learning experience just got me more into this career so I love that I got to do this.
