5 My job has a 0.4% chance of becoming automated
This job has a really low chance of being automated because you have to deal with patients daily, think fast and complex under pressure and do paper work.

6 An anesthesiologist would be great for me because…
I am calm and can control my self under pressure. I can also think fast under pressure. I am also really focused when needed.

7 I am not quite ready for this career, but I will get there!
These are skills for the job I still need to learn: This is how I will get those necessary skills: To be patient It will come naturally when I am calm and understand the situation Preform well under pressure Stay calm and collected at all times

8 This is what appeals to me with this career…
I like being busy and in a high paced location because I do not like being bored; I prefer to be really busy. I like to help people feel better when in pain because I am stopping or their hurting an making them feel better. I also like working with surgeons because I don’t get sick or irritated when I am around blood or looking at the inside of a body.

9 These are some things I find less appealing about this career…
I don’t really like how you have really long hours because you don’t get much time to do anything else. I also don’t like to do paperwork which is a smaller part of this job but it still needs to be done.

10 Potential obstacles to getting this career
The possible obstacles: My plan to overcome them: Not being accepted into a residency program. Apply to many hospitals all over BC with residency programs. Not doing well on the specialty exam. Study very very hard for it and make sure that I know everything that is on the test.
