Day 1 Saturday 16 th April 2016 Arrive at Ashlawn school: NO LATER THAN 7.30AM - Keep any medicines you need access to in a labelled, clear plastic bag and take on the coach with you. These should have been communicated to us on the OSA2 form - Bring a travelling bag with breakfast/ lunch for the coach Arrive at the school in time for dinner at Restaurant Hotel for the night.

Day 2 Sunday 17 th April Visit to Paris ! - Breakfast 8am at the hotel - Monter la Tour Eiffel ! - Visit Sacré Coeur/Montmartre in the afternoon - Return to Epernay for Evening meal in a Restaurant (if you order in French!)

Day 3 Monday 18 th April Visit the International Partner School - Morning spent shadowing French penpals - Lunch with the penpals in the school canteen - Afternoon with penpals developing team skills, cultural awareness and sports activities - Evening meal at the school - Evening out at the French cinema! - (film in French!) - Return to Hotel

Day 4 Tuesday 19 th April Visit Reims (capital of the Champagne region) -Afternoon visit to the famous Fossier biscuit factory! -Visit the famous Reims cathedral -Free time for shopping in Reims -Evening meal provided in Epernay with penpals

Day 5 Wednesday 20 th April 2016 Depart Epernay after breakfast. Visit French hypermarché for souvenirs/lunch Arrive at Ashlawn School 5.30pm

Accomodation At Les demeures champenoises – part of the Hotel Confort range Girls and boys in separate rooms of 4 people En-suite shower and toilet facilities Teachers’ rooms in between students’ dormitories to allow close supervision

Passports and EHICs To be handed into Mrs Cunliffe If they haven’t been handed in, this is now URGENT To be kept in school safe until departure. To be kept by Mrs Cunliffe during the trip and handed back on the coach once in England

Pocket money All activities and meals are included in the price paid Students only need pocket money for snacks or to buy souvenirs Recommend no more than £50 total in euros !

Medicines Ensure that your child’s name is clearly labelled and that your child knows when and how to administer the medicine. Travel/sea sickness tablets to be administered as required. Please speak to Mrs Cunliffe after this meeting if you wish me to supervise the taking of any medication

Kit List (1 medium bag, 1 small day bag ) Clothing School uniform not needed but you are representing Ashlawn school -T-shirts -shorts -trousers (no very short skirts) -jumpers/fleece -waterproof jacket -sensible walking shoes/trainers Other -towel -wash bag and toiletries -watch -activity/book for journey -camera/film (expensive in France) -alarm clock -bin liner for dirty washing -Adapter? If you bring your phone, i-pod etc this is at your own risk and you are responsible for their safekeeping.
