Occasionally technical difficulties may keep us from holding our regularly scheduled class Seminar. If this should occur, I will each of you to let you know and we will all meet in the “Chat” in our classroom, where we can then hold our Seminar at our regularly scheduled time. “Plan B” – Alternate Seminar Course Expectations

-Assignments must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on the due date. -A point deduction of up to 5% per week late from the grade achieved. -No late submissions beyond the end of Unit 7, except with extenuating circumstances and the prior approval of the instructor requested on or before the assignment’s deadline. -All submissions are deemed to be final and no resubmissions will be permitted unless it is solely for the purpose of additional feedback and pointers. Late Submission Policy Course Expectations

Incomplete Policy In certain circumstances the grade of “I” or “Incomplete” is granted to students experiencing extenuating circumstances. Sufficient academic progress is defined as having approximately 75% of coursework completed prior to the end of the term. Students may choose to discuss the need for an “Incomplete” with their academic advisor or dean. In all cases, the student should initiate such a request directly with the course instructor. Students requesting an incomplete must do so at least one week before the course’s last day of class. This deadline is Monday, Dec. 16th. Additionally, student who are approved and receive an incomplete in a course must complete the course requirements within 10 days of the end of the course (Friday, January 3, 2012).
