Dylan Feldhut Period 1

 Clinical Depression affects many people. It can change sleep patterns, appetites, and activity level. Someone who shows symptoms should get help immediately. They also need support through their times of emotional stress.

Change in: Appetite Sleep Patterns Activity Level Loss of: Energy Interest Feelings of: Worthlessness Suicidal Thoughts

 A person who is overwhelmed by sad feelings for months and stops being able to carry out everyday activities is suffering from a mental disorder known as clinical depression. Symptoms Change in appetite, sleep patterns, and activity level. Loss of interest, energy. Feelings of worthlessness, or thoughts of suicide. Ex) Bob attempted suicide after entering clinical depression when his parents died. These symptoms can help you help save a friend from suicide. If you know the signs and symptoms you can save a friend from clinical depression.

My friend has begun to eat a lot. He sleeps less and doesn’t come outside to play sports. He has clinical depression. He hasm’t told anyone, and he doesn’t know where to get help.

I think Clinical Depression is very dangerous and people need to help anyone they see that may have the symptoms of clinical depression. Remember the symptoms and who you may need to go to if you think you or your friend think you have Clinical Depression.

Clinical depression could be affecting someone you know. If you know the symptoms you may be able to help. Take them to a physician or a guidance counselor. Basically, anyone they can trust.
