2. Brief Summary My section is about helping and treating others. For instance, if someone is suicidal the best way to help is to get them professional help A.S.A.P. It also shows signs of a suicidal person or someone suffering with a mental disorder.

3. Main Idea The main idea of my section is helping people that are suicidal or suffering with a disorder.

4. Definitions, Symptoms, Key Facts Cluster Suicides- these are frequently associated with teenagers, occur when several people in the same school or social group attempt to kill themselves within a short period of time. Symptoms- feeling sad a lot, and staying away from others.

5. Continued Facts- The best way to help a suicidal person is to get them professional help right away.

6. Story There once was a boy. His name was Bob. He was very suicidal and his friends and family did not know what to do they tried everything they could to help him, but nothing worked. So, one day his mom took him to a group therapy session but that didn’t work either. Then, the next day he went and got professional help and it finally worked, and they went out to have fun.

How I feel about this topic I feel if a person is suicidal they need help right away, and like I said in the past slides the ONLY way to help a suicidal person is to get them help AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. What you need to remember… 1. DO NOT dare them to commit suicide, judge them, analyze their motives, argue or try to convince he/she why/why not to attempt suicide, keep their thoughts a secret, and NEVER leave them alone.

8. Continued 2. DO trust your feelings if you believe the person is suicidal, take their threat VERY seriously, show your concern, listen very carefully to them, find professional help, stay with them until that help arrives.

9. Summary My section is about suicides and helping suicidal people. If some commits suicide you never know what can happen. That is the reason why we need to do everything we can to help suicidal people. It does not matter your feelings about that person you MUST help them get over being suicidal, and who knows you might even make a new friend(s) if everything goes well.
