3. Symptoms Symptoms of major depressive disorder:
- significant change in weight
- insomnia or hypersomnia (excessive sleep)
- psychomotor agitation or retardation
- fatigue or loss of energy
- feelings of worthlessness or inappropriate guilt.
- diminished ability to think or to concentrate, or uncertainty.
- recurring thoughts of death or suicide and/or suicide attempts.
