5 Modeling My Classroom Rules I believe that it is beneficial for the students to see exactly what I expect concerning my classroom rules. It is one thing to have them posted on the wall, but how do I know that they understand how to obey these rules? In order to know that my students understand, and know how to follow the classroom rules, there are a few things I am going to do:  At the beginning of the year, I am going to demonstrate how I want my students to follow my rules. If I am teaching the rule on raising your hand before you speak, I will sit myself in one of the students seats, and pretend that I am the student. I will then raise my hand like I want my students to do during the year.  I will check my students understanding of these rules by having them model for me what I expect. I will say the rule, and then have my students act it out for me. Back to Table to Contents Continue with Presentation

They also help in fostering students individual learning As a teacher, one of the best ways in which I can teach, is to be fun and creative with the students. It is my goal to have my students learn the material in a fun, and engaging way. *Throughout the first couple weeks of school, I will try my hardest to use different instructional strategies to see which works the best for students.
