5 My Philosophy of Teaching I believe that as a teacher I am responsible for sharing accurate knowledge, developing a safe and collaborative environment for my students and making learning interesting and important to my students! I will set clear expectations for behavior and effort in my classroom and encourage all students to share, succeed and grow throughout their time with me.

6 My Philosophy & Classroom Management Humanistic: Humanistic: – I will create a safe and supportive environment where students feel respected and open to sharing their ideas, successes and trials. I would like to help my students grow both academically and personally. If there is a behavioral problem, I will talk with students to understand and plan ways to find an acceptable alternative behavior or to alter the environment to meet the needs of the student.

7 My Philosophy & Classroom Management Managerial: Managerial: – I am a planner! I will plan and set clear expectations throughout the year to help maximize the time on task and minimize potential behavioral problems. Students should always know what to do, how to do it and how to get help when needed. This also includes planning interesting and engaging tasks for students!
