HOW TO ACCESS NAVIANCE Always start at Naviance for college purposes and use the links 1.Go to the South website and click Naviance in the lower left corner OR 2.https://connection.naviance.com/family- connection/auth/login/?hsid=nashuahttps://connection.naviance.com/family- connection/auth/login/?hsid=nashua Student Account: – Username: ID number – Password: Student Birthday, example: 5-Jun-1997

9. COLLEGE APPLICATIONS Applications: – Common Application (make sure to register now for common application account) – Online – Paper *Make sure to remember supplemental forms Naviance: – We will be sending all of your supporting documents electronically through Naviance.

Requesting Transcripts Add all colleges to which you are applying to Naviance and click on the link to request transcripts prior to submitting the transcript request forms to your guidance counselor. Transcript request forms available in Guidance Complete 1 form per school $3 processing fee per transcript Parent signature required if student under 18 Transcript requests must be submitted to guidance 4 weeks prior to college application deadline Must see your counselor in person to submit requests for transcripts

12. Letters of Recommendation Teacher Recommendation/Release Form (available in guidance) Enter teacher name in Naviance once the teacher has agreed to write the letter. Ask at least 4 weeks in advance
