14 Knology’s Responsibilities to BUSINESS NAME: Assign an Installation and Implementation Team: –Document customer call flows as provisioned. –Network and telephone engineering. –Single point of contact. –Configure and install all stations and data switches. –Install analog lines for faxes, modems, credit card machines and security systems. –Complete system testing to validate services and equipment are properly working. Provide sufficient broadband access to carry voice and data services.

15 Training and Support All Knology Matrix products are designed for easy and efficient use, and include on-site training and documentation. -Knology provides user training immediately following installation. Your account service representative will provide on-site training of the system equipment and features. We also provide documentation to assist your employees with various telephone set and software features. -Product user manuals cover topics such as function keys, programming speed dial and handling internal and external calls. 16 Pre-install requirements met by BUSINESS NAME: The following premises requirements must be met before installation of the Knology Matrix system can proceed: - Certified cabling installation meeting Category Five specifications or higher for digital phones. -Certified cabling for analog phones and devices equivalent to Category 3 or higher. - Certified Cat 5 or higher wiring for separate data network (Matrix Cable Modem) - Data Router of choice installed and Network Vendor available for static IP configuration into the router. -Network and telephone closets co-located or connected by Cat-5 cabling. -Adequate power access in close proximity to phone locations. -Safe work area in telephone/network closet. -Shelf or 19” rack with adequate space for equipment.
